Product Description

Every industry either large or medium scale needs a highly secured place to set all the machines. This is also important for monitoring and maintenance of machines. Keeping these requirements in mind, Motor Control Center (MCC) is specially designed by experienced team of professionals. These panels are assembly of many motor starters which are having same power bus and motor controlling units.

These panels have an internal controlling as well as interlocking wiring system which is equipped with the programming controller. MCC also contains flexible frequency drives, controllers used for programming controllers. These are also used in building and other establishments for providing electrical services.

These MCC's also consist of blowers, feeders and motors. In these panels, feeders are equipped for monitoring motor ratings. For the convenience of users both manual and automatic operate options are provided in these panels. In order to operate these panels using manually motor need to operated manually and to operate it automatically for starting motor signals are given externally using the control panels. These control panels also have indicators which are used in operating motors. Combination starter of these panels is a single enclosure which includes circuit breakers, fuses and motor starter.

Following are some of the components of MCC, which help in providing protection against Fire accidents.

Voltage Ranges

MCC are widely used in motors which use three-phase alternating current ranging from 208 V to 600 V. For medium voltage panels , motor controllers are made using large motors which uses around 2300 V to 15000 V. These panels also make use of vacuum contractors in order to switch it on. Separate compartments are also provided for controlling power.

MCC Panel Usage

From 1950's MCC is most widely used in various automobile industries which normal make use of many motors for production. Today, these panels find wide usage in all most all types of industrial applications and commercial usage. These panels can be also used in highly corrosive applications in a well air-conditioned room separately. But, these panels are installed in floors of factories as per the machinery requirements.

MCC Panel Components

These panels contains vertical metal cabinet sections, a power bus and provisions which used for plug-in mounting motor controllers individual. Controller both small and large are used in these panels for testing and maintenance of cabinets. Motor controllers, overload relays, circuit breakers and circuit switches are other important components of these panel which are provided for protecting panel from short-circuits and for isolating the motor circuit. Three-phase power travels through every controller through various separable connectors. In the controller motors are connected with the terminals and these panel provides wire ways for controlling field and electricity cables.

MCC Panel Specifications

Every motor controller is specified with a wide range of options like pilot lamps, individual control transformers, controlling switches, extra terminal blocks, different types of thermal and protection relays, power fuses and circuit breakers. As per the requirements of clients, these panels are provided in various specifications and custom ordered specifications which are engineered with high quality internal control as well as interlocking wiring.
